In this experiment we want to collect data regarding pedestrians' behavior during wayfinding. To this end, we will ask you to perform a series of tasks while walking two different routes from a chosen starting point to a chosen destination in two different environments with one you are familiar and with the other you are unfamiliar.
We therefore need some information regarding your demographic data, personality traits collected through Big Five Inventory test, level of familiarity with different urban regions in city of Vienna, and your self-reported spatial abilities collected through the Santa Barbara Sense of Direction standard questionnaire. While you are performing the wayfinding-related tasks we will record your eye-movement, head-movement and geographical location for our analysis, using wearable sensors (the image below shows how the sensors would look like on you in the outdoor experiment).

We would also like to have your informed consent to our data collection policy (more details here). We kindly ask you to take your time and read all the information provided at the beginning of this survey.
We would like to thank our participants for their participation by raffling off a voucher (worth approximately 400€ for an online store of their choice) among them (approx. 50 people). We would ask you to express your agreement for taking part in this lottery by providing us your email address and selecting the agreement checkbox.
